Close to my heart

I have something a little different to talk about today, something that is very close to my heart, and that is my good friend Paige. In 2021, at the age of 25, Paige was diagnosed with an incurable brain tumour, the same tumour which sadly killed her father in June of 2000.
Over the last six months, Paige has endured brain surgery, IVF treatment, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Although the NHS have been incredible, due to Paige's tumour being a grade 4, she has been told it's almost guaranteed to return so has been exploring alternative treatment options.
After months of research and many consultations, they have found groundbreaking treatment in Germany which could give Paige a second chance at life. This treatment is very expensive, so friends and family are doing everything we can to raise the money to help get this extremely important treatment for Paige.

We have been thinking about what we can do to raise more money to help hit Paige's target and have decided to put together a hamper, including some of our best selling items to raffle in the shop.
The contents of the hamper pictured below are worth over £100. Tickets will be £5 each (you can buy as many as you like, more chance of winning!). It would make a great gift for a loved one or a treat for yourself.
Raffle tickets can be purchased using cash in the shop where you can also check out the hamper in person, or you can also purchase raffle tickets by sending the money to the following PayPal account:
If you are donating via PayPal, please be sure to do so using the "Friends & Family" option so we don't get charged a fee by PayPal.
Please include your name and contact number so we know who to contact should you win! You will then be allocated a raffle ticket number/numbers. We are unable to post the hamper due to the weight and fragile items so if you are the lucky winner, you will need to collect from the shop in Thaxted.
The raffle will close at the end of September, so you have a chance to pop by. The winning ticket will be drawn on Saturday 1st October.
